Float The Pembina

The Rock River region of Parkland County is where you’ll find the iconic Pembina River and all that it has to offer. Tube the river, camp in the provincial park, explore nearby trails and admire the ancient sandstone gorge cut away during the ice age.

The area is also popular for bird watching, as the rivers, creeks and other bodies of water make great habitats for our feathered friends. Need a rest, coffee, or groceries? The nearby hamlet of Entwistle has your basics covered. And of course, there are golf courses here too.

Point of Interest

Pembina River Provincial Park

Pembina River Provincial Park features a campground, hiking trails and fishing to keep the whole family entertained. Tubing on the river is popular as well, but keep an eye out for the signed takeout spot, as access on and off the river becomes difficult and possibly dangerous.

Point of Interest

Trestle Creek Golf Resort

With 18 holes for you to play, the Trestle Creek Golf Resort weaves through creeks, lakes, forests and hills in the area. This course is designed for golfers of all experience levels, with five sets of tee boxes on every hole, plus a 360-yard, two-tier driving range.
