Located within a short drive of Spruce Grove and Devon, this local orchard offers a seasonal opportunity to walk the fields, pick fresh berries, and enjoy a true farm-to-table experience in a relaxed rural setting. Established with thousands of haskap plants, the orchard showcases Prairie-grown fruit developed for both flavour and hardiness.

Run by a husband and wife duo, Big Rock Berry Farm is dedicated to providing the community with fresh fruit galore.

Grove Berry Patch

There’s something sweet between the outskirts of Edmonton and Spruce Grove. Here is where you’ll find Grove Berry Patch. This is your go-to for picking your own raspberries and saskatoon berries. Pick for an hour or all day long, it’s totally up to you.

Saskatoon Valley Orchards

Head southwest of Stony Plain and you’ll find the hidden gem that is Saskatoon Valley Orchards. Here you have the opportunity to fill pails with saskatoon berries or even buy in bulk if you’re not in the mood to pick yourself!

Somerset Farms

Get your hat, knit sweater, and Uggs on! It’s the best pumpkin patch west of Edmonton. Somerset Farms is a family owned and operated U-Pick berry and pumpkin farm. They specialize in growing a variety of edible and decorative pumpkins perfect for fall decorating, carving, or baking into holiday treats! In 2022 they also expanded to include u-pick strawberries, raspberries and Elderberries. Families and businesses can also book a private area on the farm to have Country Picnics & Campfires, and outdoor Photography.
