Wagner Natural Area

Located just west of Edmonton, Wagner Natural Area is a little wetland of boreal forest, including calcareous fens and marl ponds located near Edmonton. Home to amphibians, butterflies, birds, insects, and even orchids.

The Marl Pond Trail is a beautiful 1.5 kilometre walk through this scenic natural area Be sure to grab your trail guide. Wagner Natural Area is accessible from Highway 16, just west of Acheson past Highway 44.
